The Bianconeri Bring In Ex- Italian National Team Head Coach Luciano Spalletti

The Serie A powerhouse have named former Italian national team head coach Luciano Spalletti to take the helm until the end of the season.

Spalletti replaces Igor Tudor, who was dismissed post the Lazio setback last weekend.

Tudor arrived at the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, which missed out on the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.

He secured their spot in Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.

Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.

Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.

In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
