'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return
Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first important honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he earlier was, and would definitely contemplate lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
