I will stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
